The gift of mediumship has been for many centuries misused by those who have possessed it. For lack of knowledge, fear of being discovered, tortured and killed, the art of conversing with spirit has been regarded as a practice to stay away from rather than a field of study at its very infancy, in need of clarity and of further guidance by spirits of a high order.
But why, may you ask, are there so many incarnated souls who misuse this gift? Do you think that God, the Everloving Father, would deny the opportunity to open the eyes and souls to those children who need it the most?
Jesus said to Thomas, "You believe because you see me. Those people
that believe without seeing me will be truly blessed."
It is for this reason that some mediums and channellers can lead dissolute lives and practice low form of psychism and black magic, whilst perfectly good people possess no clairvoyant abilities. That is because the former, at an unconscious level, need to see in order to believe and this start their path and are further behind than those who cannot see spirits about them.
Practice discernment with all those who impart doctrines who claim to see spirits and because of this know all the workings in their hearts, who claim to have a special connection in the world of spirits because of these abilities, for infallibility is divine, whilst to err is human.
Practice discernment with those who flaunt titles to back their spiritual teachings, for spiritual enlightenment is not obtained by earthly titles or pompous descriptions of high spiritual rank. Nor any more credibility can be gained by those who have been psychic since birth, and that use this gift by making others feel inferior. Others play on their illnesses as a means to show that they are somehow holier than you in spreading the message. Human souls find so many excuses to stand out from the masses they so fervently try to unify in their speech. Some souls arrogantly claim that because of these abilities, they have been on the path since birth. You will see the folly in these statements, for all of you have been on this path for many incarnations. Many souls who describe themselves in those terms do so to make up for the poor quality of their work. That is how many false teachings have been spread on this earth, and many predictions, made by frivolous men no longer clad in their mortal garb, have proved to be a sham, while wreaking havoc in others' lives.
Remember that if your temporal power, blind to all spiritual beliefs, has stepped in by regulating psychic activities with its earthly laws, it is because that there has been a considerable number of souls who have misused their gifts and brought pain upon others.
As with all new doctrines that have become widely spread, there are many of you who hold different opinions and are seen as divided amongst the very philosophical background that you are all so keen to propagate.
The responsibility of this office is great indeed, for it requires a perfect understanding of karmic law, which is greatly overlooked in the society of the era. There are many of you, who are afraid of karma, of the responsibility of having to face the consequence of your actions.
There are many that, living in denial, profess that karma can be wiped out miraculously, and a killer and torturer can be absolved from his sins in an instant, where he but to ask. You see, this concept is partially true and that is why it has been greatly misunderstood.
There is a parallel to this in the Catholic sacrament of Confession, in which the officiant absolves the credent of all sins, and his soul is again pure and free, not having to repay any consequence for their own wrongs. The misunderstanding here has created many generations of people who felt that they could take advantage of this convenient way of not facing up to the consequences of their own actions, since a priest, a mortal man, would have absolved them in the name of God so that they could continue in their hypocrisy with a lighter heart.
The sacrament of confession, whose purpose was to unburden the credent's soul, has been used by the Church over the centuries as a means of manipulation into forcing others to see themselves as sinners, under canonic laws that are merely temporal, and which, some of them, are not even in accordance with the Divine Wisdom of the Universal Laws.
The effect of this was extreme self-punishment in some souls, and extreme arrogance in others, who felt that they could keep sinning as long as they found a willing party to absolve their heinous deeds.
On the part of the officiant there is the issue of ego and pride that had, and still has, to be faced by many of them into thinking that they have the power to control the destiny's of souls by refusing to wash away the stains of sin in somebody's heart.
Ascended Master Jesus died on the cross to save mankind, but also to expiate his last karmic burden by his own suffering, and thus proceed on the path of initiation. Who amongst you considers yourself to be above Jesus?
This brings to bear the second point of this dissertation, which is the miraculous intervention of the Divine Will, into absolving a soul of its accumulated karma.
For those who have eyes to see, the process can be roughly rationalized at your level of experience in the following words: God is just and never assigns burdens that his children cannot bear with fortitude and resilience. Most of the bad karma accumulated in past lives can be dissolved by simply practicing the principles of unconditional love and charity. If all of you practiced this daily, by actions and not merely by thought, actions that make a positive difference in other's lives, you are likely to see most of your karma disappear and a new life unfold before your eyes.
Love and Charity, which come spontaneously from the will of the incarnated soul, are the most miraculous cure for all of your earthly afflictions.
Many of you use visualization as a remedy for all sufferings.
Visualization is a good method indeed, but at your level of experience, that of the human incarnation, your visualizations need to bear fruit and be transformed into tangible actions into your world. It is all very well to send love and light around the world, but does it really come genuinely from the heart, does this practice of visualisation really lifts up karma from the soul if the person still pollutes, contaminates the rivers and spreads discord and animosity to those around him? Actions speak louder than words, remember that.
Keep in mind that you shall be judged by your actions as well as your thoughts when your soul rejoins the world of spirits. Acts of selflessness, of love, of unconditional charity, are what will make you advance in the spirit world.
Many individuals, famous upon your earth, find themselves in the lowest ranks of spirit hierarchy upon crossing the threshold of death. On the other hand, how many poor and humble souls find themselves acknowledged and looked up to in the world of spirits when they quit that of men! Oh, how many times beauty, riches and fame are only the earthly faade for the most wizened and decrepit looking souls!
And how many times those who suffer in their earthly bodies find themselves widely known in the world of spirits upon crossing the threshold!
Respect and advancement, in the world beyond the grave, are only in proportion to the moral superiority of the spirit.
We ask you to ponder on the concept of responsibility, and whether some of you fear karma because of the thought of having to repay every single action slowly and painfully? If that is the case we suggest that you face your fears, for a graver issue lies within you, and that is the fear of Divine judgment, the judgment of an everwatchful eye, constantly recording every single misdeed and thought of your current existence. For the pure of heart have nothing to fear, for God is just and merciful, and there will be no axe, nor sword of Damocles hanging above their head, for the overall goodness and integrity of their lives will be rewarded by our Everloving Father.
We are by no means advocating that the standard working of the karmic law is the only way, and the God, in his infinite wisdom and love, has not set other ways for his children to ameliorate themselves.
Can miracles happen? Of course they can. Can they happen to each of you? They could, but common sense and reason tells you that we cannot and would not make wholesale predictions for all lightworkers on what they would all be going through, just like commercial astrology is doing for the natives of the different sun signs on a weekly basis. Rarely do generalized predictions come true, and when they do, it is both their vagueness and your desire for them to be true that has allowed you to broadly fit them into your life.
You must not forget the individuality of your condition and the unique path that you are on. The same world energies reach you through your many personal filters, such as your ray type, the unique position of planets at your birth, personal past life memories and so on, and produce different outcomes for each and every soul physically alive on Earth.
Remember that the God, The Divine Principle, does not regard you as a group of unnamed soldiers who anonymously fight His cause by going through the same life's circumstances en block, week by week, month by month, year by year. You are unique, your name and history is cherished in Our Lord's memory, your path is uniquely guided, for each of you is fondly loved by the Father for the individuality of his/her journey home. It is by your very uniqueness that the Divinity finds an expression of Itself in you.
As we stressed before, in the nature of predictions and of Divine Justice, there is personal karma involved, personal astrology, personal missions, personal dharma and also personal miracles not applicable to mass- groups who believe in the same ideology, for as world currents are general and at times generic, they are felt by every incarnated Monad.
