I was a nurse for many years and in that time met some lovely characters all kind and had loads of stories to tell, loneness was there problem and when they had to go home they got more quiter and lonely looking, one man i had nursed was very grumpy and got quite rude at times bt he was a patient so i tryed my best. one day i made him cup of tea and went and gave it to him he was smiling and happy and really bright eyed i thought this quite strange any way as i left his bed he cryed nurse i am going home o.k. i thought and went back to the min ward on my return the fella had passed over was shocked but sort of knew he left picture on the bed and his clothes had seemed to be packed away also he smelt of lavender not his usual aftershave later i found out from his family that his wife wore the scent i could smell and she had promised hm she would see him through to the other side this story always make me feel humble and quite warm inside thinking spirit cares for us all times god bless dee
